Biology 279B: Biological Evolution

Ohio Dominican University

BIO279B is a CORE (common reading) seminar at the sophomore level. Sophomore level CORE courses explore the topic of community using a specific subject area, in this case Biological Evolution. I have enjoyed teaching this course for the past four years and I find it an interesting way to approach this topic, and I enjoy examining Biological Evolution through the eyes of my students. I teach this course during each fall semester.

The students in this course read Jonathan Weiner's excellent book.
