Science 479 is the capstone course for Natural Science majors. As the instructor for this course, I facilitate the matching of students with faculty advisors, manage and schedule student presentations, provide feedback for student writing and presentations, and instruct the students concerning scientific ethics, academic honesty, statistics, and the role of science in society. This course allows students to apply what they have learned about the scientific method over the course of their undergraduate career. The course requires a final NSF-style research proposal and a series of presentations.
