Barn Owl Banding

Blake Mathys, Ph.D.

On May 24th, 2022, I was able to accompany Al Parker, Zane State College, for some Barn Owl banding. This was my first time handling Barn Owls, and we were able to band 20 nestlings over the course of the day. One of my former students, Ayden Van Fossen, was also present, and I want to thank him for allowing me to use some of his pictures.
