Report on Northern Saw-whet Owl Banding by the Central Ohio Owl Project

Fall of 2020 was the first year of banding Northern Saw-whet Owls on our farm in Union County. The table below shows banding results. Foreign recapture saw-whets have come from Kelleys Island (in Lake Erie), Ontario, and Quebec. Owls banded on our farm have been found in Ontario, Virginia, and southern Ohio.
