General Biology 101 is the first semester of general biology, dealing in the very basics of biology and the chemistry relevant to life. I was the teaching assistant for this course during four semesters: fall of 2002, 2004, and 2006, and summer of 2009. The labs consisted of pre-determined experiments which I directed to encourage students' comprehension and learning. I was also involved in quiz writing and lab report grading.
In General Biology labs, students are able to learn about the amazing diversity of life that exists all around them. Much of it is too small to see without a microscope.
