Ornithology

Ohio Dominican University and Rutgers University


Ornithology is an upper level course covering bird ecology, systematics, and conservation. It also includes a laboratory portion, where students learn to identify local bird species. Field experience is gained during field trips which introduce students to bird habitats and allow them to observe live birds in nature. I taught this course at Rutgers during the summer session in 2010 and again in spring of 2011. I now teach this course during the spring at Ohio Dominican.
