New Jersey Salamander Big Year - 2010

I attempted to see all of New Jersey's salamanders in one calendar year. There are 16 species of salamanders in New Jersey; I considered Mud Salamander (Pseudotriton montanus) to be impossible, as it is known from only two certain records from the state. I finished the year with 13 species, missing Mountain Dusky Salamander (Desmognathus ochrophaeus) and Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum). I saw a total of 749 individual salamanders over the course of the year.

My rules for including salamanders in my official Big year count.
